1. How much does the service cost?

The price is $8.99 a month, with a $40 signup fee. The monthly fee is charged quarterly, so you’ll see charges of $26.97 on your card, 4 times a year.

There is a 30 day trial period for the service, with any money charged fully refundable.

2. What does the filter do?

3. How does the filter work?

We connect your blackberry to our Blackberry Enterprise Server. This gets the browsing routed through our firewall which filters the content. Some settings on your blackberry will also be changed to get this filter to be effective.

4. Will the filter affect my speed?

Not at all. In fact, some customers have even seen improvement in the speed of their browser.

5. Do I need to get a blackberrry with Jnet Mobile, or could I use my current one?

Jnet Mobile does not provide phone and blackberry data service, just the filter. You need to have a Blackberry with Internet service on it to be able to apply the Jnet filter

6. Will I need to change my plan with my current provider?

You need to make sure that your provider allows the connection of the blackberry to a corporate server. This could usually be achieved by adding the 'BES' or 'corporate email' feature. You would need to speak to your provider to check if your current plan includes it or have them add it.

7. Does it make a difference who my phone service provider is?

No, it doesn’t. As long as it’s a blackberry with the correct features on the plan (see question #6), we could provide the filter.

8. What is the difference between Jnet Basic and Jnet Advanced?

9. How to reactivate a canceled account?

Even if you do not have any service with us, the account will still remain open and inactive. If you choose to add a different Blackberry at any time you could simply add it in that services page without opening a new account.

10. How to cancel one or more services from my account?

After logging in to your account, select the services option at the left side of the page. You then have the option to select the services that you would like to cancel.
